Abstract
Nowadays, the media used by teachers, especially in learning Islamic religion, is less effective because the media used is still conventional. This problem is very challenging where learning media is an aspect of students who play a major role in understanding the material. The material of the history of Muslim scientists is one of the Islamic studies that is very important to be learned by students, so researchers conducted a community service by implementing learning media in the form of quartet card games). The method used in implementing the media consists of several stages, namely: 1) observation, 2) activity implementation which includes: presentation of material and assistance to students, and (3) activity evaluation stage. The quartet cardgames applied in learning are connected to an Augmented Reality-based application that contains historical material about Muslim scientists. The results of community service that have been carried out get some perceptions from students related to the use of media and media trends that they are interested in currently.
